What is Praxis?

Praxis is your personal Learning OS — upload your own materials and build custom study workflows using 30+ AI-powered learning blocks. From quizzes and flashcards to interactive simulations and roundtable debates, Praxis helps you genuinely understand what you're learning.

Do I need any prior knowledge?

Not at all. Praxis adapts to your level — whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced learner. Upload any material and Praxis generates content tailored to your understanding.

What are learning blocks?

Blocks are modular learning tools — like Explain, Quiz, Flashcards, Roundtable, and Simulation — that you drag and drop into custom workflows. Each block uses AI to generate content from your uploaded materials. Free users get 10 blocks, with more unlocking on paid plans.

Is there a free plan?

Yes! The free tier includes 10,000 credits per month, 10 learning blocks, 5 quizzes per month, 3 workflows, 2 focus areas, and 100 MB of storage. Upgrade to Lite ($7.99/mo), Pro ($19.99/mo), or Full ($34.99/mo) for more blocks, credits, and collaboration features.

What files can I upload?

Praxis supports PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, TXT, and RTF files. You can also paste text directly. Storage ranges from 100 MB on the free plan up to 10 GB on Full.

How does the Praxis Score work?

Your Praxis Score is a composite metric across seven dimensions — Transfer Readiness, Retrieval Stability, Error Intelligence, Strategic Learning Agency, Mental Model Density, Conceptual Load Capacity, and Cognitive Friction. It's calculated from your quiz results, flashcard reviews, and other interactive block activity.

Can I study with friends?

Yes! On Lite plans and above, you can add friends, share focuses and workflows, send direct messages, and play Party Mode — real-time multiplayer quiz games with live scoring.

What subjects does Praxis support?

Any subject. From biology to business, history to programming — upload your materials and Praxis builds learning workflows around them.
